Five tips for positioning Alstroemeria in your flower store

Alstroemeria forms a solid base in any bouquet or arrangement. From airy field bouquet to classic floral arrangement: this flower is widely applicable. With its year-round availability, this all-rounder should certainly not be missing from your assortment! But how do you best present the Alstroemeria in your store? In this article we give you five tips for an appropriate presentation of this radiant flower within your assortment. 

1. Take advantage of length

Alstroemerias are powerful flowers on a long and sturdy stem. This makes this flower ideal for medium to taller product presentation in the store. Position the Alstroemeria on an elevation behind shorter flower varieties and create a layered presentation.

2. Alstroemeria in color presentations 

At florists, Alstroemerias are usually still in bud. It will bud in customers' homes and then surprise them with spectacular colors and large flowers. Until then, it can help to incorporate Alstroemeria into color presentations. Because the flower in bud still shows little color, this can make the consumer's selection process easier. 

3. Show the open flowers
