Alstroemeria also shines at Varend Corso Westland

This past weekend, the open alstroemeria shone like a true eye-catcher during the Westland Varend Corso. This annual event is all about beautiful flowers, lovely plants and delicious vegetables. The flower parade moved from Westland across the water through Westland, Schipluiden, Vlaardingen, Maassluis, The Hague and Delft. For three and a half days it was a feast for the eyes of the hundreds of thousands of spectators who visit the parade every year. Every Alstroemeria was a sponsor of the event.

50 years of friendship

Following the 50th anniversary of the friends group 'De Zools', formed from a VELO soccer team from Wateringen, they found themselves on the water last weekend as participants in the Varend Corso. 50 years of friendship was celebrated extensively on the boat 'Surfin' Safari and of course designed with our beautiful Alstroemeria, to emphasize the theme of friendship.

The boats of the Blooming Battle, where MBO students compete on behalf of their vocational school for the honor with the most beautiful arrangement, made frequent use of the supplied alstroemerias.

The Alstroemeria symbolizes long-lasting friendship. The Alstroemeria suitable for events

An event like the Westland Varend Corso shows that Alstroemeria in their open form are very versatile, strong and useful. So are you a florist who often works at events? Then opt for the Alstroemerias as well and put them in warm water two days before the event (or in good weather just in bright light) then they will open up nicely and remain usable for a long time!
