The Alstroemeria: ideal for mourning arrangements
Flowers have a high energetic value and therefore belong to emotions. Our deepest emotions are joy
For a week the auction in Aalsmeer was all about pomp and circumstance. Flowers, plants and trees were displayed at the TradeFair. Alstroemeria was also shown on several stands. We look back on a successful week!
Tesselaar Alstroemeria, H.M. Tesselaar and Together2grow (via Decorum) displayed their products in grand stands. From market introductions (Green Crown and Green Wonder) to brand introductions to better showcase quality grading, it was all there. In Halls 1 and 2, therefore, visitors could not ignore Alstroemeria, as breeders HilverdaFlorist and Royal van Zanten also showed the most beautiful varieties.
With over 21,000 visitors over three days, the fair was very well attended. Comments from florists: "It's such a rewarding flower, it always stands tall!" Or a visitor who said, "I don't think the Alstroemeria is a beautiful flower but now that I see the various flower arrangements in the booth it is really beautiful!"
That the Alstroemeria is available year-round is both a plus and a minus. Once seasonal flowers appear, attention to the ever-present Alstroemeria disappears. Discussions have been held with several customers about year-round use of the Alstroemeria. A stable flower with an enormous number of colors. The appreciation for that versatility was mentioned by many customers.
