Always looking for inspiration for creating new bouquets? The colourful Alstroemeria is the ideal base for any type of bouquet: from simple everyday bouquets to large event pieces for weddings or other events. The Alstroemeria is available all year round and has an excellent vase life. In this article, we'll share some tips and tricks for making bouquets with this surprising and beloved flower!

Go up!

Alstroemeria is known for its sturdy, long stems and is therefore extremely suitable for arrangements that go up. For example, make a slender, fine bouquet that will gradually unfold into a colorful composition in the vase.

Field bouquet with Alstroemeria

The Alstroemeria is incredibly versatile! From a chic look in a luxurious bouquet to playful in a picking bouquet. With its large, impressive flowers, Alstroemeria is perfect for adding more volume to these field bouquets. Choose one of the countless fresh colours from the range and use the Alstroemeria as a base for your field bouquet.

Also very suitable for field bouquets are the Florinca varieties. Florincas are a special type of Alstroemerias with up to 20 to 25 flowers on one stem. Learn more about this type of flower and how best to incorporate it into bouquets.

Less is more

Because Alstroemeria has several flowers on only one stem, a bouquet with only Alstroemerias makes a big impression. Create a meaningful mono bouquet with a single flower color or mix different colors together.

Monochrome bouquets

Use Alstroemeria in monochrome bouquets and create a calm, yet surprising look. Make a bouquet with various flower types in one color, or with various shades that are very close to each other. By using different flower shapes, they all come into their own despite the matching colours. Think of a beautiful white winter bouquet, or fresh pink for spring.
